Walk from Century Link to Oolaa via Olympic Green and Trail. Witness the massive Tung Chung reclamation project.
Three consecutive hikes. First from Tung Chung to Mui Wo. Second from Tung Chung and back (reversal) Third, the steps behind Caribbean Coast via Park Mong to Tung Chung
I tend to walk this hike when I need exercise. The walk to Mui Wo is approximately 5.2 miles, so slightly shorter and involves a Taxi or Bus ride back. The advantage is that you can eat in the Kitchen. Therefor to save time, I generally walk to the top…
The fourth hash run of my career, based around Mui Wo on South Lantau.
Short hike with Connor to Discovery Bay with pictures en-route. First pictures from my apartment in Tung Chung, before taking the bus to Mui Wo. Beach area on approach to Discovery Bay is full of plastic and discarded domestic products.
Joined a walk with 9 others on the Wilson Trail, called the Twin Peaks. The highlight of the trail was 970 upwards upwards on the First Peek. The conclusion was a meal in Stanley and a visit to the Hong Kong Cricket Club followed by a Mexican in SoHo.
Hike via Olympic Green, then on to Mui Wo via the Olympic Trail. Idea was to eat in the Kitchen, but unfortunately it was closed.
Second hike over to Discovery Bay over Tigers Head this week; 7.5 miles. This time with Jan Rutten and strangely enough we hiked slower than I did before, two days earlier.
Was invited to a Hash Run on Peng Chau by Marcel Van Houten and Jamie Day. Just shy of 4 miles and then a quick refreshment and food afterwards. Excellent day out and probably the longest I have run in years.
