Hate Crime and the Police?

What is happening to our wonderful country? I know of two journalists that have been investigated by the Police for so-called hate crime: Julie Bindel and Allison Pearson of the Daily Telegraph. Both of the complaints reported to the police are in relation to “tweets” on X, a free speech platform. These journalists, should not be reported for speaking the truth, individuals need to be tolerant and if they don’t like the written word, do not read “X”.

Allison Pearson’s tweet was from over a year ago and was deleted immediately after she realised the tweet like was inappropriate. What makes the Police think they should spend enormous amounts of cash investigating people for an opinion, rather than arresting criminals for serious offences?

It all stinks of George Orwells 1984, and to be fair it began under the Conservatives and the Labour Party appear to have taken it to the next level. I am afraid of the future of our country under this incompetent government.

We are all aware of people who demonstrated their “dissatisfaction” after the sad deaths of three children in Southport at the hands of a teenage man. These people were trying to send a message to the government, that levels of immigration are too high, unfortunately Sir Kier Starmer branded them all right-wing and put pressure on the judiciary system to find them all guilty before a fair trial. Meanwhile pedophiles are not being incarcerated or being released from jail prematurely.

What is going wrong with the UK? We need free speech and we need a fair judiciary system without prejudice.
