Collected the Type R on 1 March 2023.
Impression to date, the car drives as expected. What impresses me most is the colour – Rallye Red. I wasn’t sure initially, but I now think it looks superb, especially with the privacy glass and contrasting black trim. Unsure, how well the interior in Red will hold up, thinking of the seats and carpets. In contrast, the technology on the dash is unbelievable, very impressed with LogR. and the 4 driver modes.
The reviews rave about its handling, which I concur is exceptional. However, a couple of minor deficiencies spring to mind, there is nothing in the boot to help changing a tyre and no kick plates on sills. I will remedy, the kick plates and add some foam into the boot.
