S63 has been replaced with the BMW M5. It’s not new, but has only 2800 miles recorded. It was purchased from TOP555 and the team there are brilliant there. Dan and Charles are very knowledgeable and make the buying experience very pleasurable. The icing on the cake were flowers for Max and some branded socks for myself.
After downloading the myBMW App I discovered the inability to add items such as Apple CarPlay and servicing as it reverted to a German format. A quick message to BMW and all sorted.
I installed Apple CarPlay via the myBMW App and ordered some goodies from Cotswold BMW – Carbon diffuser, Carbon Splitter, Carbon Spoiler, Carbon Kidney Grilles and 50th anniversary badges during the first month of ownership.
In the Summer there was a recall for the engine expansion tank to be replaced, Sopers of Lincoln completed this a couple of months after the annual service and MOT.
Other minor visual changes are a dress up bolt kit from Downstar. The car as of 9 January 2025 has completed only 3,963 and I have replacement Carbon Wing vents and a billet expansion tank not yet fitted.
Finally, I purchased a CTEK charger for a lithium battery and an indoor car cover.
